Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Is there an easier way to sift through the member lists?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

for example, if I'm looking for "dog", when I click on the "D", "dog" is obviously gunna be somewhere in the middle of the 'D' list, so to get to the middle pages, I 've gotta go: "page 1"........click, wait........'page 3'.......click, wait.......'page 5'......click, wait........page 7.....etc, etc.
Am I just being really stooopid, or is this the only way the get to the middle pages of each letter?
Thanks :)

Could you use Search then type in the username Dog? Then, when Dog's posts appear click on Dog to go to his profile?

In the search feature, you have the option of searching for posts by exact name or partial name. Once finding the one that interests you (the name, not necessarily the post) you can then view profile and find any posts by them, information they've provided, etc.

oh, thanks. I didn't know user names came up on search results. I thought it was just thread titles and text.
