Im thinking of buying the genius 5 pros but I have time atacs will they work together or do I have to get the Dominator 5s

To answer your question, yes, you can use them.

The problem is, it will not only reduce comfort on the pedal, it will also reduce the life of your cleats, reduce the life of your shoes, and make it dangerous to walk in. Think of walking on ice cubes.

If you want ATACs, get Dominators. There isn't a good reason to use road shoes with mtb cleats.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that it will only work with Sidi Genius compatible with 2 hole cleats. I think newer ones no longer are supported.

if you are buying new, the genius 5's won't work. ATAC's use a 2-bolt cleat, and almost all dedicated road shoes have abandoned that format.

i have old geniuses and can attest to the fact that walking on any hard surface with mtb or metal cleats on road shoes should be likened to suicide.
