Not to go off-topic, but doesn't your signature mean "Now with fruit and sh*t?"
(My German is most definitely a bit rusty; I'm going to have fun living there as an Austauschschuler for a year...)

its a long story about eating a bag of trail mix in german class back in high school. Its one of the few bits of the language that stuck with me, along with gems like:
"Ihre Mutter ist ein brieftragerin", and those immortal classics "welche Weise zum Bier?" and "welche Weise zum Badezimmer?"
The motorist sounds like the idiot who apparently crashed over a curb last night near my office, breaking a recently-built low concrete retaining wall and leaving his license plate and a small Nissan insignia, plus skid marks, a small oil slick, and various broken bits of plastic. The scariest part is that the car's trajectory appears to have originated on the OPPOSITE side of this 5-lane road.

Servus!
Matafon, where are you doing the exchange? Hopefully you don't end up with some odd bauern family in Bayern where they speak something that is nowhere near German.
I learned dialekt before Hochdeutsch - now I sould like a local but like an idiot at work....
I like the fact that bike paths are Holy Ground here in Europe. :D
