I've just picked up a pair of Tektro 510 dual caliper brakes to put on a bike I'm building up from used parts. Nothing fancy. The calipers have the original brake pads (pretty worn down), with integral bolts. Two of the bolts are stuck fast. The hex key will not shift them and in pushing the key with so much force to try to undo the (soft metal) bolts, I've rounded off the hex bolt head. Any suggestions as to how to get the bolts out, please?

Any way to use a cut off wheel in a dremel and cut the bolt head off or cut through on the pad side? Or lock the pad in a small vice and hit the bolt head with an 'easy out'?

That option was always a last resort: however, soaking with some very thin penetrating oil, a newly purchased, very long allen key and some brute force later - I managed to get both of the little bast**ds undone. Phew!

Pic? is the head big enough to grab it with some visegrips?
