Instead of buying a new drive train (XTR flippy shifters, rapid rise derailleur), I chose to spend my Christmas money on a pair of new shoes.

Here are a few pictures of my shoes :D They seem to fit me well in the store, but does anyone actually have experience with them?

Who says material things don't bring happiness?? ;)

sweet shoes...how much did they cost?

$189 CAD + tax...so $217.35 CAD or $180 US....

Bought it from my LBS because I am really picky about the fit of my shoes. Tried on a pair of Specialized selling for $160 and they were horrid for my foot type.

Does anyone have these Shimano shoes?? Just wonder how they wear in, how long they last...etc

Sweet, they remind me a lot of Sidi Dominators.

What would motivate someone to post bad pictures of generic shoes on an alleged MTB webiste?

I like them... Not my type of shoe personally because I prefer something more city-like and walkable. I use my bike for transportation so I need to be able to hop off the bike and walk around without killing myself. They look nice, though. I'd consider something like that if I was using them strictly for off-road riding.
