Classic & Vintage - Early 90's Bianchi catalog?

Anybody have a 1990-1991ish Bianchi catalog with the frame geometries in it? I vaguely remember havng one when I got the bike. I'm trying to track down the geometry on my Volpe, and my google-fu is weak today. Bianchigirl?

Do you have pics of your Volpe? I have a caralog at home and if you remind me around the 13th I'll look it up. there were a few years that Bianchi did not make Volpes and some years the catalogs did not have geomentries.

Depending on the size of the frame it is a good bet the HT is 73 and the ST 72 or so

Randy I have seen that site before but none of the US catalogs seem to open. also the '85 catalog is listed as '84 and the '89 as unknown.

Could this kind person also help me out please? My very first road bike was a Bianchi Rekord 902 bought in Italy in 1990... so I assume it may even be a 1989 model?

I am after any scans of brochure with the bike and its geometry details please.

It was distinguished by still being MADE IN ITALY with 3 Oria(?) cr-mo tubes, white! body paint with red ends PLUS Japan's Suntour GPX gruppo (with hidden handlebar cables and Accushift "click-click" 7-speed gears!) and either FIR or Ambrosio wheels.

Bianchi still makes bikes in Italy they are just mostly plastic now.

In the link above, that one is missing! The 1988 shows a Rekord frame but not the one I have, and by 1990 it is not listed.

As to "Made in Italy" ... I am considering one of those new fancy plastic Oltre pro-tour frames. It too carries "Made in Italy" stickers but it is manufactured in Taiwan. Thanks to a European directive, as long as most of the bike is finished in Europe, it can still carry those stickers legally. Bianchi most certainly engineers, paints and assembles bikes in Bergamo but that is the extent of the Italian input (on carbon frames anyway).

I'll have to double check but I think there was one US Record/Rekord model since '80 and that was in '82. If you post a few pics and some information about your components and frame material I can try and match it to US bike.

First thing first, OF COURSE I USED TO RIDE IT WITH A SADDLE lol

Specs are:
- CrMoly lugged frame using Oria triangle tubes
- full Suntour GPX 7-speed groupset
- Ambrosio or FIR wheelset (rear wheel; front is from another bike)
- ITM Mondial handlebar & ITM "Bianchi" engraved stem
- Purchased in 1989 (so from 1988 catalogue?)
