Recumbent - Giro or Strada

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Does the smaller 20" wheel bother you? Does the more reclined ride of the Strada and other bents effect you vision and comfort? Thank you for any input, know I need to test ride for myself, but life being what it is the internet is the best I can do for now.

I don't really have a basis for comparison, since I've owned and ridden exactly one 'bent (my current one). The 20" front wheel did take some getting used to, but now that I've put some miles on it, it's comfortable, even at speeds over 40 mph (there are some good hills on my commute).

Sitting in my garage are a Giro 26 ATT and a Strada with 650 wheels. I'm not sure whether my experience would help you. I borrowed the Strada and ended up buying the Giro. I chose the Giro because I liked the disc brakes and that it accepts wider tires for comfort.
I actually set my seat back in order to help my lower back. It doesn't affect my vision at all. I'm high enough to be seen in traffic.
I would guess the 20" wheels would make the bike feel a bit more stable at low speeds. Otherwise I wouldn't know.
