This guy says the bike is made of luxtubing but ive never heard of it. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. Maybe its like carbolite tubing on peugeot??? Also whats everyones opinion on this bike and the price?

Good price For a Louison Bobet bike. I would be all over it.

Mercier used "Special Luxtub" tubing on lower end models like the 200, 100, and 90 in the late 60s/early 70s. The model 300 used Reynolds 531. I've no idea whether it was hi-ten or chromoly, or whether it was straight gauge or double butted.

get better pics. i am sure it is just the angle and the crappy CL pic but that fork looks funny
