Was out yesterday picking up a Raleigh LTD-3 and the person was also selling a Raleigh Pursuit. I'm not into road bikes but it looked kind of cute and the person was moving out of the country so I figured I'd take them both. I paid $60 which was probably too much but the frame looked in pretty nice shape and it was wearing new-looking Gatorskins so I guess the tires are almost worth it right there.

I'm sure I can fix it up really nice and flip it when it starts getting warm for something like $100-150 in the Chicago area. Maybe more as some of the hipsters in town go gaga over vintage iron. It had a mismatched wheel up front -looked like a replacement but I don't recognize the brand. I've got a matching Araya 27x1-1/4 hanging in the garage I picked up at a sale.
I haven't owned a Road Bike in so long I suppose I should ride it around a little bit just to remind myself why I don't ride road bikes.
Should I convert to down-tube shifters or just leave it with the stem-shifters when I'm cleaning and fixing it up? People seem to salivate all over down-tube shifters.
At the very least I think I've got enough project bikes in the garage now to last me well into the spring selling season.
