For Sale is my beloved Ti-Aero. It is a custom spec version built up by
Kelvin at Angletech. It is in immaculate condition. I am a professional mechanic,
and it has always recieved the best of care. This recumbent will not disappoint.
I have over $5800.00 invested. Wife wants a tandem.
Specs:
Frame- Titanium Aero, size medium.
Fork - Alpha Q Sub 3 Full Carbon w/ aluminum insert in steerer tube (True Temper) $350.00 Upgrade.
Chris King Headset.
Seat - M5 Carbon w/ New Dual Density Foam pad from Hostel Shoppe. Rans Seat Struts.
Wheel Set- Bontrager Race X-Lites 650c w/ Bontrager hubs by DT Swiss + Ti Skewers. weight: 1400 grams, $800.00 Upgrade.
Tires- Kenda Kaliente Iron Cloak. Low miles, 650cx23.
Crankset- FSA SLK Carbon. 53-39-30, New Chain Rings, w/ Ceramic BB Bearings upgrade.
Front Derailleur- Shimano Dura-Ace Triple 9 Speed.
Rear Derailleur- Shimano XTR 9 Speed w/ Avid Rollamajig cable pulley.
Chain: KMC X9.99, New, just installed.
Terra Cycles idler pully w/ Ti sprocket.
Cassette- Shimano XTR, 11-34 Low miles.
Shifters- Shimano Dura-Ace Bar Cons, 9 Speed.
Cable- Jagwire Teflon Coated.
Housing- Jagwire Carbon/ Kevlar
Brakes- Shimano Dura-Ace Front and Rear.
Brake Levers- Dia Compe SS-5 MK 2. These were chosen by Kelvin because.
they have the same pull as road levers, they are light and stiff.
Bolts and fasteners- It has an extensive SRP Titanium Bolt Kit. $200.00 Upgrade. Over kill, you bet!
The front brake set-up was designed by myself. the stock Bacchetta brake
just did not work well. I set up the front Dura-Ace brake with a flex brake
noodle. It is protected by a urethane tube. I was impressed how well it works and never felt the need to change it.
I have the Bacchetta front brake caliper and is included.
Weight: 21.42 lbs / no pedals.
