Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - 2 brake levers and one brake - is it possible and how?

I've toyed with this idea in the past since I feel it would be much safer for fixxies and would add some symetry to the bike. Using two V-brake levers I figured out how to do it on a standard flatbar and it actually worked really well. But now that I got my profile bullhorns and there's no way I can fit a MTB levers on my bars. Has anyone ever done this, or seen it done (on regular sized road bars)?

edit: i would use lowers instead of uppers and run both ends of the uppers to the brake levers, then run the single end to the caliper, you'd get the same effect, but you'd only have to send one cable to get clamped.

a primo pervert would probably work well for this too.

You could use a normal BMX lever and an inline CX lever. Possibly even two inline levers.

I've thought about using two inline levers but flipping them backwards(i.e. facing each other). The ideas about a two cable mod or the primo pervert seem really good and that primo thingy is only like 12 bucks. I agree with OneTinSloth that connecting the two cables (in a redundant manner) before they reach the caliper is the most logical approach since holding two cables on one bolt seems WAY too sketchy.
