I was wanting to know if anyone has run across a company that makes aftermarket visors for helmets. I have a Bell road helmet and justt want too add a visor to it to convert it to a MB helmet. I find the shading to be benificial but don't want to buy another helmet. I also looked on the Bell website and I don't see where you could buy a replacement even if yours was damagged on your original MB helmet.

Not sure about bell, but Giro makes replacement visors, i would think bell does as well

If you find someone who makes visors for Bell helmets, let me know. I've got a Aquilla model I've been using for road use that I wish I could convert back to it's intended MTB use. Picked it up at a yard sale for $5 because the visor was missing.

I don't think road helmets are made for visors (unless you want to drill holes in them).

I think this is the first BELL that is really a road/mtb hybrid.

Where as before road didn't have a visor MTB did.

Growing up I never wore a helmet unless I was riding my motorcycle or trying something really dumb on a bike. Out of all the spills throughout life, I only hit my head once and that was being thrown from a yamaha. Everybody has their preference...maybe im just lucky ,but out of all the years of biking I always found a way to fall soft and/or brace the impact with my hands (bmx and such), some people call me dumb but I just kinda learned without. I wear one more often now as much of the trails here require them....plus I feel a bit safer at high speeds between trees. Makes sense.

But yeah ive never really seen a visor-only market
