Shameless bragging: I submitted a photo of my son and our Santana triplet to Adventure Cycling's photo contest, and it got an honorable mention. It's published on their website (scroll down on the page) and should be in the February issue of their magazine. The photo was taken on our short tour of the Great Allegheny Passage trail in Pennsylvania.

See http://blog.adventurecycling.org/2012/02/3rd-annual-bicycle-travel-photo-contest.html

I admit the photo doesn't even come close to some of the other photos that won, but I'm proud nonetheless, and my son is thrilled!

It's a really nice trail, and an excellent ride for tandems or singles (or triplets! :-)

I didn't write-up the ride with my wife and son, but if you are interested, I did write up the GAP end-end ride I did two years ago on my single bike. See http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/BrianGAPtour

Loved the photo too. Matt looked ready to take over the captain's seat :-)

Congrats!

We have a photo of our triplet on the Erie Canal posted on Adventure Cycling;s photo of the week a while back. We dig GAP/C&O end to end the previous year... Both routes are wonderful trips for families.

Hey Don, that's cool! I'd love to see a trip report about your ride of the Erie. That's on our to-do list, too.
