Weather permitting, I'd like to ride parts of this starting in E. Dundee (either north or south) if there are any places to stop and pee. The visitor center in E. Dundee was closed for the season when I got out there last week, and I didn't see any other bathrooms in the mile or so walk I took on the path. Are there any further north or south of there?

If you purchase a yummy snack from the measuring cup you can use their rest room right near there. You can also stop at Main Street bicycles just a touch North of there and use their washroom at no charge. Jeff (owner) is a good guy.

TMC is absolutely the best stop to shop anywhere on the trail. Breakfast there is good. The baked goods are better.
If you have a lock, other places you might be able to stop are the Elgin library, the riverboat. Just south of where the path crosses the river (at the top of the hill) there's a bathroom in the forest preserve right off the trial. South of there, there's starbucks in St chas (can't miss it, you have to pass it), Caribou in Geneva (two blocks west of the river at the train bridge)...
South of there, the bathroom in Fabyan is open. Then there's the Panera in Batavia...
Really, though, I've never had a problem relieving myself on the trail, and rare ever done so at an "offical" rest stop.

Thanks guys. I did notice a few businesses around there that looked good too, but the area just outside of there looked too populated for the privacy you'd like to have when there aren't any official places to go. With a half hour car ride on either end of the trip for me, I know I'd be looking for somewhere to stop along the way.

Thanks for the tip about The Measuring Cup. I ended yesterday's ride with lunch, coffee and a bathroom stop there, and it was all good. I didn't stop at Main Street Bicycles, but they had a full house from the looks of it. He's got a great spot for a shop there.
