No, not latino Rueben but latin. The first crocuses are up in my garden.:D Spring is nigh! Shouldn't the pural of crocus be croci or something similar and not crocuses?

Latin plural would be croci, however, crocus is actually Greek origin (Krokos), so it would be crocuses.

The English plural would be crocuses. The Latin plural would be croci... I think. 4 years of Latin in High School has not helped me. BTW I think it's acceptable to just say crocus meaning more than one crocus. Kind of like you would say fish not fishes.

If you're using the Latin for the genus name you should capitalize it, Crocus/Croci, otherwise it's English.

Are those the fertilizer? Or the Croquets?

And, did you use a mallet to make them?
