Sup guys, first time to visit these Classic and Vintage forums so hello to all. I was hoping that you could help me out with something, when i was a kid i used to go mountain biking with my dad and his friend who had a Specialized bike that i loved. Now that i am older, i really want to buy this bike. The thing is i cant remember what it was or what year. Im almost sure it was a Rockhopper (could of been a Stumpjupemper too) with a black frame, the Specialized logos in yellow and i think light pink and teal were also on the frame. I tried to come up with something of a scheme to show you and i think it was something like this...

Retrobike.co.uk (http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/v/Manufacturer+Archive/Specialized+Archive/Catalogues/) has a pretty good collection of Specialized catalogs, though most of them are in German. You can probably find an example of the bike there.

Hi guys, I have a vintage Specialized Stumpjumper I need help identifying. It's red and yellow with copper handlebars. It has mostly original parts, including tires, shifters, brakes, etc. However, I'm having difficulty locating a serial or model number to nail down it's exact production year. It has an solid wielding frame. Any ideas or suggestions to point me in the right direction would be much appreciated. Here are pics
