I have a moutain bike with v-brakes and front rst 281 suspension, So when riding if i lift up my front wheel my front brake slams on and stops the tyre, it seems to not jam when the tyre hits the floor (thank god). Everything looks ok and i cant seem to find the problem so if anybody can help me fix this it would be greatly appreciated

Check the length of the front brake cable and housing. If it's too short, the extended suspension could pull it tight and apply the brake.

Suspension demands extra steps in cable measurement. Whether assembling on the floor or in a stand, the brake and gear cables must be measured long enough to allow for the full travel range without the cable never being tugged on. Odds are you installed this cable with the bike on the floor, this time hang the bike and let the fork fully extend before measuring and cutting the cable.

BTW- this is the first I've seen this problem on the front. Usually it's rear swing arms that when fully compressed, say on a bump or hard landing, compress fully and pull the gear wire causing ghost shifting.
