All of the proportions just so "off".

Look how big the chain looks in comparision to everything else.

looks like just someone had fun putting regular size saddle and handle bar to a cheap kid's frame.

Is something bent? Looks fine to me.

It must be the backward seat post clamp. And don't get me started on those silly, weight-weenie, low-spoke wheels. ;)

Small kids or circus fixie bike for a monkey. I'd guess the Mercier part is a joke.

The bar and stem are welded together yes? does it look like someone cut and rewelded them? All I can think of some sort of odd track training bike

OH JUST GREAT!! :rolleyes: thanks for pointing out I actually can get a Velo-Mini of my very own. :twitchy: I think they are cool but was happy that I was not able to easily access one therefore it was not on the wish list. now however the N+1 Velo-Mini is only $350 away

Is it an illusion or does it look as though the pedal would hit the ground if you tried to go anywhere?

I'd agree with it being a circus bike. I have a Penny-farthing style bike that I think was meant for that purpose as well. Need to get some pics of it posted. It has an odd valve that I've never seen before and can't get any air into.

I was thinking hard about getting one before I recently picked up a used Bike Friday.

There's a really long thread in the Folding Bikes about those Mercier Nanos and all the mods people do to them. They look like they'd be pretty fun project bikes.
