No real intention to sell these, but they are bare frames and will either need some investment to build them up or, failing that, I may have to sell one to fund parts for the other. So, what I've got:
- A Japanese-built Schwinn Le Tour, sky blue, in very nice shape. Made sometime in the 1970s from what I can find.
- An American-made Raleigh R500, 7005 butted aluminum with a Cro-Mo fork. Decals are somewhat chewed, but the frame is in good shape (and incredibly light). I'm guessing late 1990s or so.
I'm in the metro NYC area, so the market around here is pretty high, at least for compete bikes; hard to say what a bare frame might bring. Anyway, thoughts on values for these two and (if it comes down to it) which would be better to hang on to, would be appreciated. Thanks.
