BMX - having problems witch fellow riders

I ride with wat u could call a crew and these srappy a$$ riders always callin us non riders so me and my friends are gonna take their S***Y a$$ mongooses and throw them off the bridge any1 else have problems like this

I sense some built up anger. Ni really havent had too much of a probelm that i want to trash there bike!

I have trouble with other riders all the time - mainly because I'm female. They won't talk to me or acknowledge me when I nod them in greeting. They'll talk to all my male riding friends and treat me as though I'm not there. Apart from wanting to chuck their bikes off a bridge, I'd like to give them a lesson on good old fashoined manners!

Sounds to me like someone that can't get done on the bike is making up for it with there mouth.What happend to just going out and having fun?Is that not why we ride?

just kick em in the balls, or be very nice to them, or practice more bmx. dont let a bunch of idiots ruin ur fun

All I can say is you get them types everywhere, just dont let them get in yer way. Theres a newbie who hangs around me and my mate now who thinks he's hot stuff and thinks he knows everything but he doesnt. So do what I do. What ever they do, do something what will makes em jealous. If they double peg a ledge, you smith it. they do a small fakie in car park, you fakie the entire car park. If they wont respect you as a person, make em respect ya as a good rider.

I don't intend on kicking anyone in the balls, I've never thought that was playing fair :) But in all honesty what you're all saying is right - I make sure I have fun when I ride and I fully push myself hard and I get back on after I fall - if I can. in the last couple of weeks I've noticed that the skaters have been dodgier than the riders - some of the little punks chucked a bottle at me when I was sessioning a well known "skate spot" in Sydney. How rude!! Anyway boys ta for the support and if anyof you are down under, drop me a line :)

Were you talking to me? I ride because I love it, I just hate having to cop unneccessary attitude. I think we all do - why can't people just be nice to eachother? ;)

ive done some bad things like inflat the tubes with water, loosen there nuts on their bike so they fall off

steal their tire caps and put glue in them

Aussie males, what do you expect? :D Oh, I'm getting a BMX so I can go racing. After that, maybe a jump bike.

I ride wit this crew they off the hook and i never had a problem wit em' just get wit the right peeps and respect them like you wan' be respected back

Hey simonw, I don't want to sound rude, but this thread has kind of died, no one really posts here anymore. I just wanted to let you know so that you didn't feel left out when nobody anwsers you. ;) And yeah, what happend to her is lame, but what's done is done, and all you can do is forgive those people and move on. I have no problem whatsoever with who I ride with, female or male, I just like riding and learing from others, and the more people I can ride with the better. I just wish there are more kids in my neiborhood that do BMX, but oh well, you can't have everything.....

Just ride your bike. That's why we ride isn't it? TO have fun...Yes we can ride in clans and all, but we can also have fun at the same time. By the way, why do they call you a non-rider anyways?? As long as you are participating and doing everything thye do, they'll respect you as a rider. Well, there's my advice.
