I'm currently riding a '10 gary fisher wahoo disc. (bottom of the line, disc hard tail xc). It just isn't cutting it for me anymore. Mechanical disc brakes and super heavy - yuck.
I'm considering buying this s works and rebuilding the rear shock and frame. Not a big fan of the brakes, but I figure I can upgrade the wheelset and hydraulic disc brakes as I go. Looks like the frame will take it, but can't quite tell.
Looks to have some miles. Can't decide if it's worth putting money in to or if the technology is simply on the way out. I guess the frame is what I am most worried about. Everything else is easily upgradeable for the most part.
Opinions? What price would you consider fair? Pics should be attached.
