Mountain Biking - toronto trails

anyone know any trails in toronto ontario?

or any places that are good for urban mountainbiking, jibbing whatever?

I know of the Don Trails, an extensive network of singletrack, dirtjumps and a lot of technical stuff. Really fun!

I know nothing about surly bikes. I live in east york, around Main station and Victoria park station. That's all I'll say. You?

those, sir, are part of the don valley trail network that our young friend hooligan mentioned. there are a large number of trails throughout the don valley. the more well known ones are in the leaside/thorncliffe/bayview area. there are more in the northern part of the don; sunnybrook/taylor creek/wilket creek area.

for urban in toronto, there's quite a few spots to go to... a couple of outdoor skateparks: icelands in mississauga, there's a new one in markham somewhere, there's cummer in the bayview finch area.

there's always downtown toronto, also. around skydome, university of toronto... lots of stuff to hit up for urban.

there's quite a few guys on dropmachine.com who ride urban in toronto that you could probably hook up with for rides and stuff.

for bikes, you might want to check out places like trailblazers like hooligan mentioned. also cycle solutions (cyclesolutions.com) has some nice urban/dj rigs you can get your hands on.

Don Valley = r0x0rs for how close it is to my place. I swear if I wasn't bogged with homework on the winter break, I'd be riding there every single day.
