** Hi All, I would REALLY appreciate some expert advise here. :)
I am considering upgrading the Crankset Shimano FC-M431 Square Taper Cankset - 175mm, 44/32/22T, Black on my 2012 Cannondale bad boy 1 bike with the following (below). I am driving myself crazy trying figure this out and I’d welcome other observations, opinions, recommendations. I went to the local bike store today and the tried to sell me into a Deore FCM591 175 mm for $129 + another $25 for the bearing guts… But this only looks like an Euro options and I can only get the FC-M590 in the US.
They recommended I go with the Trekking stuff from Cannondale so that I don’t need any other equipment changes besides the crankset. I can turn a wrench, but I am just not that familiar with the right options for this change (if its a good idea at all).
Thanks for your time and help. They also said stick with the 175mm because it fits the bike, XL frame. I am 6/4 about 235lbs.
