anyone out there any good at the ol jumping, i have realll difficulty ever getting the back wheel to get more than a 1mm off the ground :( . Any techniques anyone would recommend. I have no problem getting the front well up, i.e. wheelie height (about a foot at least i reckon), but the back is proving a *****. For example pavements are just damn annoying, the front gets up well easy but the rear just says "nah thanks i just ride up it and bash the rim to hell". :confused: Cant bunnyhop either, i guess if i could do that id be able to jump the bike but i cant, so help, plz.

Taken from trials-online......The best way to learn is to start small; try it on a curb or a 2x4 set on your driveway. Don't try to get up the neighborhood two foot high wall on your first attempt. Roll towards the object at a good pace (for a small object try a quick walking speed). Right before you get to the object, you will want to shift your weight back, unweighting the front wheel. When the front has risen high enough to clear the object, quickly shift your weight forward, while pushing forward with your arms. This will have the effect of leveling the bike out in the air, allowing the rear wheel to clear the object. Try to land relatively flat, with the rear wheel hitting first. It's much better to land with the rear first, landing front first will only lead to uncomfortable situations and unwanted endos. Well...I didnt know how to bunnyhop at one point, but I practiced it, and now I can jump pretty good.

Like klein side pull up, and push forward HARD. Thats the best advice i can give you. If you pull your front wheele high, then thrust ur weight and ur arms forward ur back end will rise and you will bunnyhop!:D
thanks guys, i gotta free weekend tommorrow so ill be out practising all day. how hard can it be :rolleyes:

The way I learnt is to learn to pull your back tire up first. No brakes or anything, just lean forward and sort of pull up the back tire. Once you can do a small endo then you can combine the endo and pulling up on the bars and its a start.
At the end of the summer my friend who rides a 38lb Big Hit could bunny hop a foot and now he's up to 30". Once you have the basic it'll all come very quickly.
