Foo - Amazingly awful tattoo leads to amazingly public Facebook breakup.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
You know a Facebook thread is going to be a complete and utter disaster if it starts with a photo of this tattoo and only gets worse from there. Below you'll see how this ill-conceived ink job ends up ruining this girl's day and most likely her life. And let this be a lesson to all of you: Never get anyone's anything tattooed on your anywhere. Especially if there's a chance you're completely insane.

OMG... I gotta post this on FB!
And I've preached for YEARS, that getting a tattoo of your partner's name or face will doom the relationship to HELL!

Don't believe Apri's "not real" thing, Omni. You can't believe anything you read on the internet.

It has always baffled me as to the answer some tattooed person gives when you ask them if that was a real bright decision. You know later in life when you REALLY need a job and tattoo guy and non-tattoo guy compete for the same job.
Anyway the answer is always something like, "Well, I want to be different". Yeah . . . different than that other tattooed creepy looking guy over there or what? Piercings the same thing. Don't you know you have piercings just like a million other pierced looking wierdos?

Is there we start insulting people for having tatoos/piercings/not being like us, but we we have to phrase it as it's their fault we make fun of them because we realize it's nonsense to do so but we really want to?
Tattoos are permanent. I'm anything but permanent.
I'll vote this goes back to P&R, but only after it's been here in foo for a week. That's my litmus test, time-wise.

In that case it will be closed. Some people might throw in P and R stuff in it just for that exact reason.
You are all welcome to tattoo my delicious bass on your arms, but do not for a minute think that we are dating.

There is plenty of skin that does not show when dressed for interview or work. I know one couple that have nearly as many tats as the old circus tattoed sideshows, if you only count the aera covered by a short sleve shirt and pants. All that shows when dressed is unmarked skin.

I have no tats, but a lot of the cycling crowd I ride with do. Many of them have mainstream jobs. In the generation that is in its 20s and 30s, it's getting to the point that tats just aren't that much of a big deal anymore.

I once dated a woman who had her ex-boyfriends name tattooed on her. It was weird, but it really didn't matter as our relationship lasted about two weeks.

She didn't pull her gun on you and demand you get her name inked on you?
