Rather spendy for spring.

That's awfully expensive for a spring with some elastomer in it. It's not even a shock absorber. I have never heard of a brompton owner complain about the rubber stopper on the bike and some even found like $2 alternatives! To me this is like a solution to a problem that was never there to begin with.

A lot of Yen, for an automotive valve spring, probably, ... not even Titanium.

I like this: "JAPANESE INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS WITH STEP BY STEP PICTURES".
Translation programs tend to create a lot of confusion..

A lot of USD$ but not a lot of Yens. In Yens it's only $60 http://kamoya.info/11_41.html
There is one somewhere with my name on it. Hopefully it will arrive mid March and hopefully it is better than the stock suspension ;-)

Looks nice and also more protected from pinches. These spring suspension seem to be softer than the stock rubber suspension. Is that correct?
After modding my Downtube Mini from spring suspension to rubber block and noting the vast improvement this yielded, I will never put a spring on my Brommie, that would be a step backwards.

Rather spendy for spring.
I think I bought it for little over $20 in Tokyo, specifically at Y's Road, though with only one elastomer. The replacement elastomers ran for $3 or so. Rides nicely.

people have stiffened the standard rubber block
by putting a hose clamp [jubilee clip] around it ,
since shorter = wider, restricting the spread stiffens the compression.

Brompton sells a hard suspension option

Was too hard for my taste. Possibly with the jubilee clip you can dial in the desired hardness.

Marvellous. Let's make a bike which is too heavy even heavier.
And I've heard that Brompton Project X will be steam-powered.
