I'm not advocating the pedal since I've never tried it, but that seems like an insane price. Heck, my ultegras cost $90.

Hmm a bit sketchy on the specs they have there. Given the retail price they have those would be the Impact Mag but they are listing them just as the Impact and the weight they give of 260g for the pair would be from the Time literature for the Impact Mag/Ti. May have to call to confirm which pedals these actually are.

Also the reason they are so cheap is that Time totally redesigned the pedals for 05 and this is the old pedal.

So the weekly special says Impact with a photo which is different than any of the others and the specs from the Mag (which are wrong BTW as the 260g weight is form the Mag/Ti). I would call for sure before I ordered.

I just called and the tech was pretty useless. He just said it was probably a six-month old model. I was confused by the photo and limited description. I wanted to order but am still skeptical that it could be the aluminum model.

I have an update on this deal. I wrote Performance CS an email and sent it yesterday. Today more than 28 hours after I sent that email I got a reply saying that they have forwarded the question on to their technical support and that I would be getting an email from them. That was 2 hours before I left work today and as of my leaving there was no email back from Technical support so I replied to CS and asked if there was any chance I was going to get an answer to this question before the sale ended. I got no response.

You know I like Performance but this is a bit stupid.

I've been watch this thread (nice pedals). I'm going to order now, if they are not what I want I'll send them back...ot keep them for a differernt bike.

Performance's CS isn't that great. Their shipping sucks if you don't upgrade.
