Damn skippy you did. AC class boats are crazy stupid light and even more crazy stupid fast. Just one sail for that boat costs more than my house.

Is that on the Oracle campus? My 85 y.o. mom shocked me last month when she said she watched some the AC World Series on TV and thought it was very exciting. Who knows...she might be motivated to go up to SF in 2013.

Yup, I was there for an Oracle Users Group meeting yesterday. GREAT weather to sit out and watch the heavies roll into SFO, the private planes do their lazy circles over San Carlos, and the birds on the bay... and, I guess, great weather to eat catering and sit around and hear about Oracle stuff.
I have somewhat better pics from my last visit last May. I will have to post them for y'all.

I'd love to send you pretty pictures of big racing yachts, but sadly the draft isn't deep enough outside my office for the 'big boys' to come and play. We can only manage a miserable 4.5m or so at a good tide.
