Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Hi everyone! I've always wanted to buy a bike and ride the trails. FInally shelled out the cash and bought a Kona Manomano. I'm gonna start with a "beginners" trail nearby.
Just wanted to say Hi and maybe get some tips from more experienced riders that can help me avoid some beginners pitfalls. Thanks!

Glad to see another newbie mtn. biker. BTW, welcome to the forums. Good choice of bikes and keep up posted on how you do on the trails.
Welcome to the sport. The only advice I have is ride often and ride the hills, that's where it all happens.
Good luck to you, Angel! Just keep riding. It's amazing how good you get by simple riding, riding, riding. And don't be afraid to challenge yourself.
