Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Oh, he'd chalk it up to the Pressures of War and be all profound about the niggling accomplishments of the "leadership" of this vessel after the War. Ignore the sacrifice and contributions of the enlisted ranks like the rest of the "journalistic" field does.
Big pet peeve of mine. Leadership can't perform without followers. Followers are important. Followers are not lesser humans-- they're members of a different profession.

My grandfather crash-landed a P-38 in training. Does that count?
... it was great practice for when he had to do it over Belgium later on, though.
