Snow_canuck
Hi,
I did search for this. I want to commute in the winter (6km one way), not far to go. I have a road bike and would like to use it for this. The tires on it now (Michelin semi-slick) seems like a bad choice for ice, snow and twenty below. I really don't want to go and buy another bike for winter, low on toy storage at the moment.
The road bike set up kind of sucks on the ice with little pedals and big boots. And those slicks are really scary in the winter.
Is there a good 700c winter tire out there? I looked at michelin.com and they no got. :( Any tips or do I have to clean out the shed so I can find a few more feet of room for a mountain bike? :D
