One of several things I've done since retirement a year ago is become
diabetic. To celebrate, I plan to ride the Tour de Cure in Easton MD on
19 May. The Eastern Shore is a great place to ride - scenic, good
roads, and flat (sometimes I actually miss the hills, but views of
Chesapeake Bay make up for it).
I want to invite you to join me on the ride. I'm planning to do the
full century, but, of course, several options are available. I'm
riding with the Shore Health team, and you can join the team, if you
wish. Or not.
We have plenty of room (depending on turnout we may need to sleep 3 or
4 per bed, or use the couches, camp out, etc.) and it be a great weekend. We
would probably have some time to canoe, row, fish or motor about a
little.
