i want to open a money market account with them but i've never heard of them.

GMAC Bank changed its name (http://gmac.pissedconsumer.com/gmac-ally-bank-fraud-or-incompetence-20101105205801.html) to Ally Bank. Does that help?

What they offer that makes you consider them? If it sounds too good to true it usually is. I see they have only 2 offices, one in NC and another one in Utah. I'm not really sure about Utah. :)

Got a new truck loan from GMAC.
The loan lasted longer than the new Silverado so it must be a good bank:thumb:
