Europe - Ireland in April

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I am going to be in Ireland for +- 5 days in April from Prague and am looking for some suggestions.
I fly into Dublin in the late afternoon on a Tuesday and have to be in London (taking ferry) late that same Sunday.
This is my first time to Ireland but I plan on coming back to do a more thorough tour in the future.
Deciding between my Trek 620 and Cross Check.
Would love to hit Jameson in Cork as well as St. James Gate:)

Hi
Weather is probably your biggest concern but realistically it shouldn't be too bad.So far this year it has been exceptional i wouldn't expect to see anything below 10c and certainly no frost. If the weather does keep good like this the countryside will be looking very good, growth has started well and it may be a
very nice early Summer.Best conditions for cycling.
Don't be shy about chatting to people or asking questions and you won't have any problems.

You could ask questions here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=410

If you visit St James Gate it might be best to leave your bike somewhere safe and get there by bus (or walk).
I like County Wicklow, a trip out the Sandyford Road, Enniskerry Road, hrough Enniskerry, Roundwood, Laragh, Rathdrum, Avoca would let you see some nice quieter roads.
