Southern California - Mulholland challenge

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
WHO IS IN THIS YEAR?
I'm in for the whole KoM series.
I ride Mulholland Hwy -> Little Sycamore -> Yerba Buena about once a month, and, I tell ya, Yerba Buena is in worse shape than ever. So, i realize that's part of the challenge! But watch for longitudinal cracks in the road almost wide enough for a road bike tire to fit into.
I went up Decker Cyn this last weekend. It's still steep.

I want to, but I am not sure if I am going to be able to do Heartbreak this year, so I don't wanna waste money.
I live in Thousand Oaks so the Santa Monicas are where the majority of my riding is, I have done most of the climbs on the route.

I have signed up for this one and I might register for the other two if I make it to the finish.

I've signed up for Mulholland and Breathless Agony, still trying to decide if I want to do Heartbreak. For some reason, in the past, Heartbreak has been the most difficult of the 3 for me.
The rhetorical question to myself: Do I really need another KOM jersey?

And to the people doing the ride: Be super careful going down Yerba Buena, it is the worst road I have ever ridden on. And be prepared, people WILL get flats going down. If you ask me they should change the route, going down Yerba is extremely hazardous.

Never been there... (well not on bike...might have crossed few times on car decade ago) What do you mean by worst road? Pebbles? Debris? Cracked pavement? Curious

Pretty much a mix of those.
There are pretty big cracks in the road which will have no trouble swallowing your wheels. And pretty much the whole road from the top of Little Sycamore to PCH is beat up and cracked.
I usually ride up it and my hands are always numb when I get to the top.
The only reason I go up there is because the views are amazing.
