Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

After 4 years of steady riding, I took my first extended lay off this winter. I took almost 3 months off after Thanksgiving until last week. My first ride back was a commute. Probably a mistake.....I forgot about the sore arse thing. The ride in was great, but painful on the way home. :) Since then I've done two 20 milers.

The lay off was good. I think I needed it because I was feeling burned out on the bike. Problem is that I gained 10 pounds. The weight should drop quickly as soon as I start doing longer rides.

Oh well......it's great to be back in the saddle!! And back on BF!! :thumb:
