Wasn't a bad movie, definately glad I rented it. My question is, can anyone tell me what song Will Smith is listening to in the opening scene. I want to say James Brown, but I wasn't paying that close attention. I forgot to look at the credits before I returned it. Thanks.

'Superstition' by Stevie Wonder :D
Ah Stevie... he's good stuff. That's one of my favorites. But then again, all his songs are good stuff (except "Part Time Lover").

Nice. Thank you!!! Good song.
And 'Ebony and Ivory'.
That was a duet... I count that as a Paul McCartney song, and I have hysterical amnesia and denial that it was ever something Stevie Wonder did.
:D ;)

Yeah, I think you're right as McCartney also did "the girl is mine" with Michael Jackson.
Poor Paul... those must have been his lean and hungry days.... you know, where his bank account dipped under a billion dollars, so he lined up duets with popular black artists so he could build his base and find a new outlet to sell his albums. ;)

I know the duet with MJ was done from different sides of the Atlantic. They never actually met and sang together when recording the song.
Actually, that was the Stevie duet. They did the recordings from opposite sides of the ocean, and when they shot the video, they shot them singing at the piano side by side, when actually, Paul was shot doing his ivory video part at home in England, and Stevie was doing the ebony video part at his recording studio in New York. The funny thing is, they weren't living in perfect harmony...they'd never met! :D
