Hi I was wondering if you guys could find out what model this Schwinn is? I have the pictures from craigslist. Here is all the information posted about the bicycle.

"i have a schwinn 18 speed bicycle that has been completely gone through all new cables, tires, rims, spokes all new bearings camponolo derailers new bars back rack is a blackburn lots of top of the line parts the wheels are rigida new chain new gel seat new rear sprocket on wheel i worked at a bike shop twenty years ago and i restored this and never rode it been hanging in my rafters don't want to let it go but i have too many bikes and i decided to let this one go the frame is a 21 inch and the tires are 27x1.38 has a brand new pump its a zephel also has new bars and levers modelo brakes"

Also how much would you pay for this bicycle?

The pictures are not clear nor large enough to be certain. Here is what I see that points to a better Schwinn:

*Chrome fork (I'm guessing a replacement) and chrome seat and chain stays.
*Down tube shifters.

These two things hint at a Voyageur and the decal style and black paint point toward the early 1980s.

It looks as if the crankset was replaced.

+1 This bike appears to be an early 80's Japanese built Schwinn likely Voyeger or World. while hard to tell details from the pictures it has had a lot of parts changed chainrings and or crank, Bars and brake levers and fork? rear derailleur? Without a better pics it is just not possible to tell you a lot more about this bike.

I agree we need better pics, and the chromed fork says replacement to me also.

What model are the Campi derailleurs? are they newer?

The bicycle turned out to be a Schwinn Super Le Tour. The only Campagonolo parts on the bike are the downtube shifters. The derailleurs and crankset are Shimano. I bought the bicycle for $200, and I'm loving it. I have a Schwin Deluxe Varsity which was fun, but was too heavy. The Super Le Tour is just a feather compared to my Varsity.
