Mountain Biking - It's amazing what you can do with the crudest of tools.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Pop bottle can be used to keep the C*** off all the delicate/hard to clean parts of your bike. I was looking into grundge guards etc, but a 2 liter and some zip ties work great.
1 piece on the front fender, 1 on the down tube and 1 on the front of the rear fender (keeps FD clean).
I extended the front fender with another fender as well. Pretty well 0 cleaning time even after 2-3 hr rides.

That's exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks

Actually for my hardtail I was gong to try a slight mod.
Instead of having the concave part following the inside curve of the back fender (facing backwards),
I was not going to have a back fender and have the concave part facing the front.
It can form a little "umbrella umbrella" over the FD and be zip tied to the down tube.
The great thing with 2 liters are they are cheap and really easy to cut with a box cutter type blade
and you almost can't see the pieces since they are clear.
I hate when the rear tire throws mud all over the FD. This looks like a good way to keep that from happening.
