Hello all. I've heard a lot about the upgraded Forever C bicycles and I was wondering if anyone had personal experience riding these. Specifically, I'm deciding between the Peishan (SS) and the PingJiang (6 speed) models.

For those of you who haven't heard of these, Forever is one of the big old bicycle companies that were founded in Communist China. When compared to other companies such as Flying Pigeon, the Forever models were always known to be the best. Well, the old communist bicycles just weren't selling in today's China, and they brought in a new development team (all members under 30 years old) to redesign the traditional Forever bike for the modern marketplace. The result of their hard work in the Forever C line.

From what I've been able to gather online, the basic frame shape is more or less the same, but the materials have all been upgraded. Overall, I have heard that the new bicycles are priced to reflect the increased quality ($75 to $200) and there hasn't been any bad reviews. However, I haven't been able to find ANY extensive reviews of these bikes in English. Can anyone help me out?
