After being delayed yesterday, my new trike finally got here... minus the backordered headrest! Of course the "this side up" arrows that Utah Trikes is now adding to the boxes was pointing on its side/to the right in the truck... then the guy took it off and loaded it onto the cart so it pointed down- at which point I had to stop him...
Anyway... it's here... my wife & I put in a 7 mile ride last night- with a stop at a local convenience store for some celebratory Pringle potato chips!

BTW I cant tell from the picture if you have clipless pedals. I highly recommend them. On a trike at the bottom of the stroke your feet are almost vertical and can fall off the pedals on a bump. Your foot can then be pulled against the cross bars and be hurt. Riding with clipless pedals on a trike is great anyway, when you stop your feet are clipped in and fully relaxed.

Nice trike, my wife rides a trail and WILL NOT even consider riding a bicycle again. 2nd rydabent, clipless is the way to go

Thanks for all the comments, Folks- I appreciate it. (I know some of you are on Bentrider as well !)
Yes, I'm clipping in with Nashbar Ragster sandals. I'm aware of the leg suck phenom... and having had a knee replaced a couple of years ago, the thought of a leg going under the trike is terrifying! As a matter of fact, just after unpacking the trike, I hopped on it to just go down to the corner after an initial visual checkout- to see how it felt- and my foot popped off the pedal before I got to the corner, and FORTUNATELY, my heel bounced up off the pavement, instead of going under. Believe me, it was a wake-up call of the first magnitude. I will never, EVER be unclipped on my trike again. Never.
We equipped my wife's T/T Rambler with PowerGrips as well... we ordered it with them.

Nice trike, nice rack, nice flag. Just in case you need more modulation on the brakes, try Aztec brake rotors.
