I have this older MTB frame I pulled out of my stash. I am building it up and getting some paint on it. Any guesses as to it's brand? There is a hint of turquoise/blue paint in the bb shell. Frame size 20", english threaded BB, 130mm rear spacing, no fork. I got it from a meth-addict for free about 10 years ago.

It would help if you took pics of the entire frame along with some close-ups.
If the 130 spread is original, that makes it post 1990, and the braze-on on the seat stay tube makes it earlier than V-brakes (cantilevers) so I'm guessing early 90's. As for a brand, I don't recognize one, but that braze-on like that is not that common.

The rest of the frame is plain as can be. There are no other identifying marks. Below is a side shot of the frame with some 700c wheels. The rear end is the only thing unique. The serial number starts with M9J but it's not a Bridgestone or a Specialized Allez.

Maybe contact the police, if you got it from a drug addict it might have been stolen.
