Pacific Northwest - Looking for Training Buddy/Group
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hello, I just moved to Seattle for school and I've been training however, I came to seattle so late that I probably won't have a chance to become part of a team. I am curious if there are any other racers out there that would want to train/ ride with me?

Have you checked out CycleU? They're doing training rides and recruiting through out the year. http://cycleu.com/index.html
Also Cascade has training rides for all levels. http://www.cascade.org/EandR/Daily_Rides.cfm
I am not interested in riding with people training for the STP. I want to train with racers
That came across pretty bad, I meant that I am looking for some 3/4 buddies to train with until i get into some local races

I guess you didn't dig deep in the CycleU site. http://cycleu.com/services/team/team.html
Also, you'd be surprised to see a few racers training with some Cascade riders. Everyone has to start somewhere and most start at these types of rides.
Besides the weekend racing, there are weekday races which are used for training. Check out the WSBA site for more info. http://wsbaracing.com/
You might post on the WSBA email listserv as well. And if 'for school' is UW, there's a collegiate cycling team/club. Not sure if other local schools are active in collegiate cycling or not.
