For a short time, I thought my new Masi was to be called "Casablanca," because we've started this beautiful friendship.

But now, I think it might be Mrs. Jones, as in (singing) "Me and Mrs. Jones... We have a thing, going on..."

Ride it, Sam! You rode it for her, you can ride it for me!

Anyway, I'd avoid "Mrs. Jones".

But that's only because I never really liked that song. Always rubbed me the wrong way.

But if you like it, then God Bless.

But I'm more attuned to the beautiful friendship between a man and his bike. I can definitely identify.

Isn't this so much better than agonizing over which bike to choose?

Oh D.G., you gonna have a lot of 'splaining to do....

"I need a new saddle for Mrs. Jones."
"I rode Mrs. Jones for 20 miles yesterday."
"I rode Mrs. Jones for three hours in heavy traffic."
"I just got a new rack for Mrs. Jones."
" I fell off Mrs. Jones yesterday and broke my arm."

...and so on and so forth....

You sure gonna have a lot of 'splaining to do, D.G.

Well, if it's a girls name/song reference you're after, don't forget Sexy Sadie by the Beatles.

If it was me, and I was into naming my bikes -- I'm not, but if I was -- I might lean toward calling it "Wild Thing" ( by The Troggs).

Wild thing...you make my heart sing...
You make everything
Groovy

I like it too... sweet and sentimental. I really like Sleepless in Seattle too... is there something wrong with me?:D

If he's looking for something a little more masculine he could name it "Lola" but I think that would be more appropriate for a hybrid.

Or you could borrow a scene from "Cool Hand Luke" and call her "Lucille".
