BMX - now what i need help

okay i can j-hop a foot or two what shoul;d i try now please explain greatly because i dont know anything thanks :)

no but try a 180 or a barspin a feeble grind double peg something like that

i can do flatland barspins fairly good. i just ride fairly slow, stand on my pedals, grip the seat with my knees and do a 180 degree barspin. when i get that dialed i will try a full barspin

is it easier to barspin when your going fast, medium, or slow speed

i would try but its dark out and the windchill is like 5 below zero

barspin hurt me learning more than anything else but there a great trick practice them at like parks with the rubber floors

when i go fast i'm afraid i'm not going to spin the bars fast enough (i do sometimes)
and fall on my @$$

It is alot easier to barspin while going slower. You would have to catch the bars perfect to ride away smoothly while your going fast. I have my barspins dialed I could do them slow all day and never even take my foot off but thats going slow. As I speed up the error level increases. However alot of it is confidence and what you feel comfortable doing.

is it considered "cool" to do barspins at a very slow speed

i can do double barspins, but only during a manual. i tried to bunnyhop barspin, but my bars stabbed me

I use tyo try flat land style barspins all the time. My record was 4 , but I only did that once and I didn't catch it.

rice: Where do you live? It seems like you always say its cold there.

i live in iowa. but the last couple days have been pretty nice. but there was a stretch of about a week or two where the windchill was between 15 degrees (not below zero) and 20 degrees below

like i said its been pretty nice lately. the last few days its been in the upper 40's. tomorrow the high is like 55 degrees
