I finally had the time to take my bike to the Trek store because the spokes kept breaking. They said it must have been a rim defect and replaced it with a brand new rim right on the spot. They also made sure my front wheel was trued as well. This was completely free.

Ask them if they tensioned the new wheel. Otherwise you might be back in there with the same problem in not too long of a time.

They did. They also asked me to come back in a week to make sure everything is fine.

Well, make sure you get 200 miles on that new wheel this week before you go back in. :D

+1...a week means nothing, the mileage does. ;)

It might take a little longer then, lol. I ride often but I haven't had time to do an actual "ride." I probably only do 50 miles
a week because of school and the gym. I can't wait until summer because I'll probably average 20 miles a day.

Well, I guess you have your work cut out for you - what are you doing posting? Get riding! All the old people are asleep anyway, the streets are empty.

I'd prolly wait a month myself. Most shops will give you 90 (at least 30) on most stuff for adjustments. I'd also let the shop know my plan so they don't think I skipped out on the courtesy adjustment.

50 is too early. ;)
