Hi, I want to purchase a new bike, or a used one. I'm a pedicab driver here in Manhattan and I've been riding 6 to 10 hours a day for the last 6 months. I want to take advantage of my new cycle powers and do some riding up into the Catskills this summer. I want something that I can use to carry some camping equipment, enough for a few days, maybe a week. Everyone seems to like the Long Haul Trucker, but I don't have any build skills or tools to put one together. So, I'm thinking of the Cross Check....will this bike suit my needs? How much does the Cross Check sell for?
