ok I found a local guy selling a 23in (X-large) 2006 giant yukon alum. frame in good condition for 10 bucks  Now im only 6'1 235lbs with a 35in Inseam. Is this frame too large. I feel like this would be a perfect project for me but i dont want to go through the whole build process only to find out its too big. can i accomodate for the large frame by getting a shorter stem, crank? Im new to the Bike building scene but im pretty handy and work on cars and such all the time.. Thanks for the advice in advance..
I think you will find a 23 rideable but too large to really enjoy. I'm the same height with an inch shorter inseam and consider a 20-21 the outer limit of what I would ever want.
