id like to make a custom old school spring fork for my bike. ive done some digging about on the web but was lucky to find a picture that look like something id like

id like to do something like this but this looks like the spring would be able to pivot at the single bolt.

if anybody has any good ideas please share with me.

Your correct,it would pivot.Weld a "T" bar just in front of the fork(on the spring) and use it as a light mount.

I was also trying to think if there would be a way to use a brake with something like this

That one is a plane Jane fork with a end of a leaf fork from a golf cart
