The 2012 North American Handmade Bicycle Show (http://2012.handmadebicycleshow.com/) made an appearance in Sacramento this year, so I made the most of it. Since I volunteered for SABA (http://sacbike.org/) doing bike parking on Friday, I got in the show for free two days. I took a bunch of pics from inside the show, which you can see here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/76286317@N05/sets/72157629129017202/).
On Saturday, I rode in the NAHBS Artbike bike parade, which had plenty of rat rod bikes, a tall bike, and several Burning Man-type bikes, including a pedal-powered palm tree which you can see in the first part of the video. Unfortunately he had mechanical trouble and didn't make it very far.
